You can also try allocating more RAM to Minecraft, though that will only get you so far. Unfortunately the best solution for this is "get a better computer", which I understand isn't always feasible. When you insist on it being active, the game crashes as there's not enough power to handle it all. ![]() Most likely what's happening is that your computer isn't powerful enough to handle all of the extra textures and so some mechanism in Optifine is trying to keep CTM turned off so that you can run the game. I clicked on it, after a few seconds it went to 'off'. I also found the connected texture button in video settings. ![]()
